Free audit

Your website has two jobs. We'll audit both for free.

We check how your site works and how people find it on Google and in AI tools.

The Build line checks how your site works: speed, mobile, code and enquiries. The Found line checks how people find it, on Google and in AI tools like ChatGPT. Both end at one free audit, from a team that can fix either side.

Route map. From your site, the Build line stops at speed, mobile, code and security, and enquiries. The Found line stops at Google rankings, technical SEO, AI answers, and content and links. What we check on each line

Four stops on each line. Each one is something we can measure on your live site, and something we know how to fix.

Build line How your site works

  1. Speed

    We check
How fast your main pages load on a phone, measured with Google's Core Web Vitals.
    Why it matters
People don't wait for slow pages, and Google doesn't reward them either.
    We fix
Oversized images, bloated code, slow hosting, and scripts that hold the page up.
  2. Mobile

    We check
Every key page on a small screen: text size, menus, buttons and forms.
    Why it matters
Your first impression often happens on a phone, with one thumb, in a hurry.
    We fix
Broken layouts, buttons too small to tap, and forms that fight the keyboard.
  3. Code & security

    We check
HTTPS, broken links, page errors, outdated plugins and themes, and accessibility basics.
    Why it matters
A security warning or a dead link makes a stranger doubt you. You rarely see these from your own laptop.
    We fix
Errors, updates, redirects, and the accessibility gaps most sites carry around.
  4. Enquiries

    We check
Whether a stranger can tell what you do and get in touch within a minute.
    Why it matters
Traffic is only worth something when some of it turns into calls, emails or orders.
    We fix
Unclear pages, long forms, missing calls to action, and tracking that can't tell you where enquiries came from.

Found line How people find it

  1. Google rankings

    We check
Which searches you show up for, which ones you're missing, and who sits above you. We also look at answer boxes like featured snippets (AEO).
    Why it matters
If you're not on page one for what your customers type, most of them won't find you.
    We fix
A keyword plan built around what your buyers actually search, page by page.
  2. Technical SEO

    We check
Whether Google can crawl and index your pages: sitemaps, titles, duplicate pages and structured data. (What's technical SEO?)
    Why it matters
A good page can't rank if search engines can't read it properly.
    We fix
Indexing problems, missing titles and descriptions, schema markup, and messy site structure.
  3. AI answers

    We check
Whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews mention you when someone asks about what you do (GEO).
    Why it matters
Some buyers now ask an AI tool for a shortlist instead of searching. If it names your competitors and not you, you're off their list.
    We fix
Pages AI tools can quote, clear facts about your business, and mentions on sites they trust.
  4. Content & links

    We check
Whether your pages answer the questions buyers ask, and which other sites link to you or mention you.
    Why it matters
Google and AI tools both lean on content that answers questions, and on sources other sites vouch for.
    We fix
Content built around real buyer questions, plus outreach for links and mentions on relevant sites.

Why both lines should run through one team

Most businesses hire a developer for the site and someone else for search. The trouble usually starts where their work meets.

Line statusWhat usually goes wrong

  • Part closure

Redesign goes live, search gets forgotten

A new site launches and nobody checks search. Old pages disappear, links break, and rankings that took years to earn can slide within weeks.

  • Severe delays

Traffic arrives, the site lets it down

Search brings people to a page that crawls on their phone or hides the contact form. They leave, and the visit is wasted.

  • Good service

    One team on both lines

We plan builds with search in mind and check search every time the site changes, so a fix on one line doesn't break the other.

What happens after you send your address

  1. You send your address

That's all we need. No logins, and no access to your accounts.

  2. We check both lines

All eight stops, measured on your live site.

  3. You get the findings

In plain English: what's broken, the quick wins, and what to fix first.

  4. You decide

Fix it yourself, hand it to your current team, or ask us for a quote. What we found is yours either way.

Before you reply

How did you find my business?

We look for businesses whose websites we think we can improve, then get in touch directly. If you'd rather not hear from us again, reply "stop" to our message and we'll leave you alone.

Why is the audit free?

It's the quickest way for both of us to find out whether we can help. If we can, we'll tell you what it would cost. If we can't, you still keep what we found.

What do you need from me?

Your website address and an email to send our findings to. We don't need passwords or access to anything.

Do I have to buy anything?

No. There's no cost and nothing to sign. You can hand our findings to any developer or agency you like.

Who would I be working with?

The Cogent Coders team in Bhopal, India: developers and search specialists who work with clients around the world.

Send us your address. We'll check both lines.

It's free, and you don't have to buy anything afterwards.
